Dear lovely Sock reader,
Well, as promised on my Facebook page, I’ve done it. I’ve created the very first edition of the Errant Sock Newsletter a.k.a. Sock Mail. Assuming the technology works, here’s what you can sign up for.
Every two weeks or so (I don’t have time to cram your inbox – honest!), you’ll be getting links through to the most recent posts to save you having to check back on the blog. Life’s too short, right?
I’ll also send you news about things I’m currently loving but don’t necessarily have time to blog about. This’ll be things like:
- recipes we’ve enjoyed
- kid crafts,
- cool websites, apps or podcasts,
- books we’re enjoying
and other general musings on what’s making life rock right now chez Brandon.
You can unsubscribe at any time but I hope you’ll find the content inspiring, encouraging and downright useful. You’ll also be eligible for my free e-book when it becomes available with all the recipes from my old blog Slow Cooked in Blighty, reorganised and edited into a usable book format.
You can also feed back and give ideas for posts. I love going off and solving problems like finding new chicken recipes for the slow cooker or working out if you can use it cook sticky toffee pudding. (I’m pretty sure you can, BTW). If you want to find a great chapter book for a 6 year old boy, a craft you can do when you’re home sick with the kids or a way to bake without eggs, let me know. I will warn you, I’m still new to this technology but do let me know if you spot those glitches as I’m keen to get them fixed.
So, are you in? And to all of you who were promised dedicated posts or recipes, they’re banked and coming up over the next few weeks. Thanks for your enthusiasm!
All the best,
